MonteCristo International announced today it has started a California division named MonteCristo Pictures LLC. MonteCristo Pictures, with offices at 328 N. Orange Drive, LA 90036, will develop, produce and co-finance English language mid budget pictures as well as remakes of MonteCristo International proprietary titles. "The International Market is demanding more English language titles, which, given the lower value of the dollar, are now better priced in comparison with European and Asian product than in the past. The Company plans to maintain a 50-50 balance between English and non English language titles on offer to its clients" - said Michael Taverna, the Company President. A slate of English Language projects is being prepared and will be announced in Cannes.
