| Apartment 1303 Starts Principal Photography in Japan |

US Sales and Distribution Company MonteCristo International, announced today the start of Principal Photography on July 24th in Hamamatsu, Japan, of Masters of Horror "APARTMENT 1303".
Based on an original novel by Kei Oishi, ( the re-known author of Last Supper, and scribe of the novels The Grudge, Lady Vengeance, Old Boy ) APARTMENT 1303 has been adapted for the screen by helmer Ataru Oikawa ( Tomei :The beginning ) and lensed by Tokusho Kikumura ( The Grudge, The Grudge 2 ).
This highly anticipated J-Horror Film, starring Teen Idol Noriko Nakagoshi, is being produced by Mr. Harada of Amuse Inc in association with T.O Entertainment , Noble Entertainment and US based The MonteCristo Fund. Takeishi Honda and Michael Taverna serve as the Film Executive Producers.
APARTMENT 1303 has been sold by MonteCristo International to Japan ( Amuse ) Korea (Unikorea), Scandinavia ( Noble ), Spain ( Flyns y Piniculas), Italy ( DNC ), Thailand ( Sahamongkolfilm ), Singapore and Malaysia ( Ram Indo ), Indonesia ( PT Camila ) with further territories in negotiation.
Financing for the Film was arranged by The MonteCristo Fund LLC. " The Film is expected to be completed by AFM. " We are very excited about being able to deliver this Film to our clients one year to the date we first introduced it to distributors " - said Sales and Acquisition Executive Mrs. Cindy Nelson-Mullen.
